Officials,
1. The Scrimmage at Indianapolis Bishop Chatard is now THURSDAY March 6 at 6:30pm.
2. Indianapolis Heritage Christian has just added one Tuesday March 11 at 5:30pm.
3. There’s an NCAA division III game at Bishop Chatard Tuesday March 4 at 7:00pm. Aurora v. Wittenberg, two very good teams. Three of our local officials will be working the game. This is a great opportunity to observe, particularly for those of you interested in working varsity games (three man crews) and other upper level games this season. I plan to attend and would like to sit with any other officials so we can discuss the mechanics we observe on the field. I cannot promise my schedule will not change, but as of right now I intend to be there. (I also want to support my bros on the field!)
4. Remember to let me know which scrimmage(s) you intend to work. I currently have had a disturbing low repsonse from everyone as to which they plan to work. Once I get some info I will "officially" assign a crew chief and two other guys and list the others in the game notes so the crew chief knows whom to expect. If you do not get an official assignment through arbiter you can still work the scrimmage!
I look forward to hearing from each of you in Indy and Northwest Indiana as to which scrimmage you intend to work (not a subtle reminder). If I hear of any in Fort Wayne, South Bend, or Evansville I’ll let you know. Thanks!
