Officials,
1. Due to an “incompatability” between arbitersports and yahoo I’ve had to switch my email to a gmail account (indylaxassigner@gmail.com). My old email is still active, but this will be my primary lacrosse email.
2. Please remember that there are some key differences between NCAA and NFHS rules. Once that has apparently been misapplied consistently is that the “flag down” rule in NFHS has not changed. Kill the play when the ball hits the ground or leaves the box.
3. Two of the three officials in Bloomington are out with injury right now. There’s a 7/8 team in Columbus, but no officials. If you DO NOT want to travel to either/both locations please block the SITES in arbiter. Otherwise I’ll assume you’re willing to travel there. You do get mileage.
4. As stated several officials are out with injuries right now. Therefore there are a lot of games in the Indy area which require officials this week:
Tues: Park Tudor V 7:30
Thursday: Fishers 5/6, 6:30
Saturday: Bloomington: 10:30, 1:00, 4:00, 6:00
Carmel JV/V, 5:00 and 7:00
North Central JV/V, 1:00 and 3:00
Westfield V, 5:00
Heritage Christian 7/8, 11:00, 1:00
Columbus 7/8, 10:00
Let me know. I’d like to have all these covered by tomorrow afternoon.
