Clinic January 18 Canceled- New Clinic Dates

Officials,

US Lacrosse is updating all training materials and they’re due to be released at the convention Jan. 23-25. Because of this we feel it’s best to postpone all clinics until after the convention.

Therefore the clinic at Guerin Catholic scheduled for this Sunday at 9:00-3:00 has been canceled. If you were registered for the clinic please reply that you received this. We really don’t want anyone showing up for nothing!

1. The Indy area clinic will now be Sunday February 22 at Guerin Catholic in Noblesville from 9:00-3:00.

The Indy training at Guerin Catholic February 22 is only for adult officials (18 or older and out of high school) who are eligible to work high school level games and below.

Information about training for officials in high school or middle school, or adults who only wish to work youth level (7/8 and below), will be made available within a week.

2. The northern Indiana clinic is still at South Bend St. Joseph’s High School Sunday February 8 from 9:00-3:00.

3. The Evansville clinic will be Saturday February 14 from 9:00-3:00 (central time) at the Newburgh Library.

The Northern and Evansville clinics are open to both adult and youth officials.

4. Please go to the following link on our website to register for the clinic you plan to attend: http://www.inlaxref.org/762-2/

5. Clinic cost is $50, this covers association dues for the year.

6. These clinic dates are later than we’ve had in the past, the season is starting earlier. Therefore there won’t be much lag time between clinics and getting on the field.

– Please make sure you are registered with US Lacrosse.

– Please update your availability on arbiter. I plan to post many Indy area assignments by early February.

– Ryne, Mark, and I will be announcing scrimmages as they come in.

New Officials- Please see our website to see equipment you need. You may also be in touch for any other relevant info.

– Once you’ve attended a clinic we can get you an arbiter account (we can probably do it at the clinics). You can get assignments before you complete the registration process and take the test. You just won’t be able to actually work any games until completed. However there will be a reasonable lag time to get that done.

We apologize for having to cancel this weekends’ clinic, but please understand that it is beyond the control of ILOA.
