This past weekend, 9 ILOA members participated in a mini-LAREDO program during the Midwest Top 80 Showcase held at Grand Park. The program, arranged by Paul Deinlein, was designed to enhance proficiency in 3-man mechanics, create better communication between officials during the game, and to fine tune all aspects for officiating.
Officials were observed during their first game, then sat out the next game to review their performance with the Clinician. They then returned to the field to apply the points of improvement. They finished the LAREDO with a final evaluation, and written comments on how to continue to develop their skills.
Participants in the event were: Chuck Breslin, Rich Bulley, Matt Deinlein, Jonathan Faris, David Levine, Tim Moore, Dan Niederberger, Alan Severs, and Andrew Thompson. US Lacrosse Certified Observers were: Ryne Daley, John McGrath, and Clay Worley.
Congratulations to all involved for their efforts to raise the level of Indiana officiating!
