On December 4, 2017, the ILOA Board of Directors adopted a revised set of bylaws, which modified the length of term served and the number of consecutive terms allowed, as follows:
- Term of office is now 2 years (was 3);
- Directors may only serve 2 consecutive terms;
- After serving 2 consecutive terms, a former Director may only serve again after having been off the board for 1 full election cycle (a year).
Future elections will be for 2 year terms; however, one existing term has been shortened to allow for a more balanced election sequence. The graphics below show the pre- and post-change expirations.
